Playoff Scenario – Northwest Region Division 5

Roanoke Valley District
Pulaski County has locked down the # 2 seed, and can only move to # 1 with a win over Cave Spring and a Culpeper County loss to Fauquier.  Patrick Henry has clinched a playoff bid and will have the # 3 seed unless Halifax County defeats George Washington.

Commonwealth District
Culpeper County has already clinched an automatic bid as the Commonwealth District champion.  If they defeat Fauquier, they will be the # 1 seed. If Fauquier wins, Culpeper will be no lower than the # 2 seed.  Fauquier's only chance to get in the playoffs would be a win over Culpeper and a GW win over Halifax County.

Western District
A GW win over Halifax would give them the outright Western District title.  Albemarle will get a wild card bid and the # 4 seed with a Culpeper win over Fauquier.  A GW loss would give Albemarle a tie for the district title, an automatic bid with the higher power rating, and the # 3 seed. 

Here is what I think the Northwest Region Division 5 playoffs will look like:
